Associate University Librarian for Administrative Services
In my AUL role, I provide leadership, oversight and management of the financial affairs and administrative operations of the Duke University Libraries, including Library Human Resources, Business Services, Security and Facilities, and the Library Service Center. It is my responsibility to also provide leadership for developing and implementing library policies in administrative matters, ensure the fiscal integrity of the Duke University Libraries, oversee library capital (building) projects and represent the libraries on relevant issues with the University. I am a member of the Libraries’ Executive Group and the Provost's Academic Financial Leadership Group.
I have worked in the Duke University Libraries since 2002; prior to that I worked in higher education in Saudi Arabia and Milwaukee, WI. Earlier in my career, I held various administration and finance roles in the public sector in the US and abroad. I earned my MBA from Babson College, Wellesley, MA and a BA in Business Administration (minor in Education for the Hearing Impaired) from Flagler College, St. Augustine, FL.
