The Student Wall was created in the spring of 2009 to support a growing desire from students and faculty to display work related to their research, instruction, artwork and organizations.
This gallery is 18 feet of exhibit wall space on the first floor of Perkins Library. Duke students can display their two-dimensional items for one month. Exhibits span topics such as civic engagement, experiences related to coursework, fine arts and social issues.
This gallery is open to the public whenever the library is open. Students can display materials they have prepared for classes, internships, research and student organizations. For more information please visit the student exhibits website.
Support for this exhibition space was given by Duke University departments interested in helping students to publicize their work.
